Caring for our Eco-friendly, Hypo-Allergenic Silicone Products
Our silicone products are food grade and hypo-allergenic, however, in rare cases some people react to the rings, especially if there is a build up of dirt or sweat.
The product can be cleaned simply and easily using a small amount of dishwashing liquid and water and a soft cloth or old toothbrush. With our rings, it’s important to let them dry after cleaning, although our air channels will also assist here.
For a deep clean you can mix a 2:1 ratio of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. You can let this soak for about half an hour before rinsing and drying.
Another tip for cleaning our silicone products is to just pop them in the dishwasher in the cutlery container.
Caring for our Luxe Stainless Steel and Everyday Nylon Watch Straps
To clean our Luxe Stainless Steel and Nylon watchbands Apple recommends just using a nonabrasive lint-free cloth to wipe the band.
For a deep clean you can mix one part water and one part vinegar in a bowl. Remove the band from your watch face. Dip a piece of cotton or a soft clean cloth into the mixture and rub it across the band. It is crucial to make sure the band dries thoroughly afterward before re-attaching the watch.
